Ok, I admit it, I laughed. Someone in my rally class had her dog hike a leg on a sign during his last trial. She was mortified. I can only imagine!

I remember you telling me about your habit of dressing up for exams. I believe this came up immediately after I confessed that I always dressed as horribly as possible for exams – would stoop to wearing dirty clothes – becuase I held tight to the notion that beauty and brains are always in direct conflict . . . when you show the powers that be that you care about what you look like, what you’re really letting them know is that you care more about your appearance than you do your academic successes . . . Well, anyway, I think I’ve made some progress – not quite as crazy as I once was (in that department at least).

Hey, BC stars are a dime a dozen. (At least, that’s what it feels like at flyball tournaments.) Scottie stars are special!

you cannot post that and not share the videos!!! as a larger girl (but i have a larger dog too!) i share your drama – i will never forgive myself the one time i decided to go into the ring with just a regular bra on instead of a sports bra

That’s not playing “hard to get.” That’s HARD TO GET. And I can’t imagine what kind of marriage you would have with this guy if A) you always get into trouble when talking about something deep, and B) you can’t move him. Jenny, you move mountains when you say, “Hello.” If you can’t move this guy, not only is he missing out on life, but both you and him would be missing out on what a real marriage should be. (Not that I would know what real marriages should be like, but I think you know what I mean.) The way you make him sound is beyond “shrugging off negative comments” or “only paying attention to positive compliments”; it’s not caring what you think. And that’s not what a friend is.

I don’t know this guy at all, but I definitely don’t like him.
